Protection from violence-A room of my own – Make a new start
We offer women in emergency situations a temporary place to live and the opportunity to:
• make a conscious withdrawal from the violent situation together with their children
• develop new perspectives in a protected environment
• stabilise her life
• find a new flat (or to get the old flat back)
We offer women in our shelter flats / refuge housing
individual counselling and support concerning:
• personal and legal protection from domestic violence (new law)
• legal and financial issues
• welfare benefits
• health and education
• language-training, school education and work
• residency and work permits
• new apartment /housing
Our assistance for the women works toward self-help.
We also arrange further counselling if necessary.
